The OYCAD Program is a combination of competitions and camps  designed to allow young fencers to put into practice their newly developing skills in a format that is challenging and fun. Any level of fencer can attend and will benefit from the program. Since this circuit is designed to limit the pressure put on developing younger athletes, rankings will not be kept in the Y8, Y10 and Y12 categories. Y14 and Y16 will be ranked.

The OYCAD Program is the first step in our athlete development system. Athletes may progress to the Ontario Elite Team or remain in the OYCAD program until the age of 17.

Each year in August a program Booklet is published setting out all the events, selection citeria, and program registration information for the coming season. Watch for it here on this site.

Our OYCAD Program mascot is Pokey. Developed by  Danish designer Teresa Matheson in 2007, Pokey will make his appearance many times this coming season.
