Update #6: Phase Recommendations and Translations

Please see the following additions to the OFA COVID-19 Return To Play page as we continue to monitor the pandemic in Ontario:

On the advice of the Medical and Health Committee, the OFA has added a recommended phase notification.  This is based on the current provincial pandemic landscape, and will be updated regularly as the province loosens regulations on facility re-openings and gathering sizes.  Clubs are strongly advised to follow the posted recommendation, and not progress past the current posted phase.

The OFA recognizes that our membership is diverse, and has added a “French/Chinese Translations” section to house translated documents as they become available.  The Chinese translations of the Return To Play Protocol, the 5-Phase Return To Fencing Strategy (PDF/JPG), as well as the Daily Checklists (Club/Athlete) are now posted.  We are awaiting the French translation documents, and will be adding those as soon as they become available!

Many thanks to Alexandrae (Xiaohan) Chen for her quick work translating the CFF Protocol!

Stay safe and healthy!
