A message from Allison Sandmeyer-Graves, Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women and Sport and Physical Activity (CAAWS)
As you may know, the WISE Fund invests in the development of female leaders and supports organizations in their engagement of girls and women in sport by providing 10 grants annually, each valued at $1000. Our two core areas of emphasis are: retention of girls in sport and expanding female leadership in sport.
The application is open now and will be closing on November 10th. CAAWS would love to consider worthy individuals and initiatives from Ontario, so we hope we can count on your support to circulate this among the program team at MTCS so they can share as they see fit. The online application can be accessed through the following links in English or French. Grant recipients will be announced in early 2018.
