The OFA Coaching Development Committee currently has a vacancy to fill. This is an exciting time in coaching for Ontario Fencing, as we have a newly revised Coaching Development system, through the new NCCP courses devised by the CFF, as well as a Competency Based Evaluation process for experienced fencing coaches to achieve NCCP Certification. There are also new provincial laws coming into place this summer, known as Rowans’ Law, the OFA is developing new Learning Facilitators and Master Coach Developers, and there are always new things to learn for professional development in Coaching, as fencing continues to evolve and grow as a dynamic sport in Ontario.
We are looking for people who are passionate about the practice of coaching, of coach education, who want to work with a dynamic group of individuals in problem solving, marketing, and championing coaching in Ontario.
