Coaches have a tremendous impact on athletes and communities which is why all of Canada is joining together to say #ThanksCoach! In Ontario, the CAO has several exciting events, programs, and opportunities to thank and celebrate Coaches this Year:
NCCP Community Clinics
There isn’t a better time to complete your NCCP training! To say thanks, the CAO, Provincial Sport Organizations and Host Communities have come together to offer a full week of community-level coach development at extremely low cost. Don’t miss out on a chance to get both your Multi-Sport and Sport-Specific training done. This year we will be in Richmond Hill, Cochrane, Thorold, and Ennismore!Don’t live close to any of these communities? You can still take the NCCP Make Ethical Decisions module and others online for just $10!

National Coaches Week Online Auction
The campaign kicks off National Coaches Week across Ontario and Canada featuring more than $10,000 of unique and exciting packages that will be up for bidding by the general public.
Proceeds from the auction are used to offer subsidized coach training during National Coaches Week to increase the number of trained and qualified coaches, helping to create a fun, safe and positive sport experience for all. Mark your calendars for the official launch coming September 18th!

Meet the 2019 Ontario Coaching Excellence Award Winners
This year’s Award winners will be revealed at a ceremony on Saturday, September 21st to kick off National Coaches Week in Ontario celebrations. This Ontario Coaching Excellence Awards will be at the Innis Town Hall Theatre located at 2 Sussex Ave, Toronto. The event will feature a light breakfast beginning at 9:30am followed by the awards presentations.
