This year’s @ICFFCanada Lavazza Drive-In Festival will feature the North American Premier of На острие: On the Edge on Friday, July 16th, with a pre-show featuring a live fencing demonstration with members of the North York Fencing Club!

“On The Edge” is about the rivalry between Aleksandra Pokrovskaya, a famed fencer looking to achieve her lifetime goal – winning the Olympic gold medal – and Kira Egorova, an ambitious, unknown fencer on a sudden winning streak. The two athletes fight for supremacy on and off the arena, finding themselves in a crisis of conscience.
Gates will open at 7:30 PM on July 16th, and the pre-show will start at 8:45 PM.
The 2nd edition of the Italian Contemporary Film Festival Lavazza Drive-In Festival will present a selection of films celebrating Canada’s multiculturalism with a special ‘Focus Italia’ series from Jun 27th – Jul 17th, 2021. Visit icff.ca for more information.
