This last week, the County of Renfrew announced that the 2022 Ontario Winter Games has been postponed until 2023.
The announcement, by County Warden Debbie Robinson, was made amidst the growing concern of the impact the Omicron variant is having on the health and safety of Ontario residents.
Due to this postponement, all OWG qualifiers scheduled this winter are all postponed.
The OFA HP committee and some coaches will be meeting in the coming weeks to establish new criteria for the 2023 Ontario Games.
