OFA’s High Performance Development Program (HPDP)
New for the 2015-16 season, all fencers interested in qualifying for the Quest for Gold Program under the Ontario Fencing Association must register in to the OFA’s High Performance Development Program (HPDP).
Quest for Gold – Ontario Athlete Assistance Program 2015-2016 (OAAP) is funded by the Government of Ontario, through the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport (MTCS), and operated through the Sport, Recreation & Community Programs Division.
As there are some significant changes to the qualification criteria within the 2015-16 Quest for Gold Program, all candidates should review the advertised criteria found here>>. NOTE: This file has been updated with minor clerical changes regarding events used for priority 5/6.
Registration will only be accepted online using the payment process!
HPDP Program:
In order to receive Quest for Gold funding:
- Athletes register inito the program befor Friday, December 4th.
- The fee is $300.00.00
- Athletes must submit a traaining andd competition development plan (provincial requirement) by December 31st.
- Athletes must attend the one mandatory camp December 11-13 @ Toronto (Vango)
- Theme: Coordination & Agility
- Athletes MUST register and attend the 2016 OFA Provincial Championships. Athletes will register during the regular registration period.
