The East Region OFA OWG Competition and Camp will be held this Sunday, December 10th at the Univeristy of Ottawa:
– Parking passes available from the DT.
This will be a training camp and competition similar to the HP camp Canadian Fencing did at Vango, Markham in October. The Competition will consist of Pools, or Swiss System depending on number of entries. The training camp portion will consist of a activation routines, tournament preparation planning, a fencing conditioning and coordination session and controlled bouting run by National Team Coach, Paul ApSimon. The schedule for the day will be 9-5 and the specific competition and training camp schedule will be set once entries have been confirmed.
OWG selection points will be awarded based on competition results, with an addition 10 points awarded to all athletes who participate in the training camp.
