The OFA is currently seeking active members to volunteer to join the recently reinstated OFA Medical & Health committee. Under the leadership of Dr. Nader Abdelkader, the committee will be working with the OFA to execute safe sporting practices as it relates to fencing. Key goals, besides advising the OFA on health related matters, is to establish an informed culture as it relates to health, safety, and performance matters to athletes, coaches, parents and other affiliates.
All interested please submit a one page résumé, including why you would be interested and how you would contribute in the development of the aforementioned key goals of this committee, to web@fencingontario.ca with the heading “OFA Medical & Health Committee” by December 31st, 2018. Please note that interested members are not required to have health related background in order to apply. We welcome all creative and motivated minds.
